Whilst walking the gorgeous streets of Belgravia, you will come across a cake shop which could well be straight out of a fairy tale… Peggy Porschen.
If you are anything like me the idea of going out for tea and cake is always the best idea, so I was excited to step inside and sample some of their freshly baked delights. We met up with our friends Eva and Amelia, for a couple of hours of tea, cake and a good old catch up.
Stepping through the doors of Peggy Porchen, you will be greeted with the warmest welcome and the finest array of freshly baked cakes. Do you know whats even better? It is dog friendly! Which of course is a priority for me!
I just had one problem… Which cake do I get? With a whole selection of flavours to choose from, how would I possible make such a difficult decision.
In the end I opted for the classic Victoria, It was picture perfect and absolutely delicious. No matter what time of day you go Peggy Porschen is always busy, thriving with a friendly atmosphere. There was a lovely mixture of locals and tourists, all stepping in to pick up a tasty treat.
There wasn’t a moment where I felt uncomfortable with the dogs, Amelia took a seat at the table while Alfie curled up under the table. Having the dogs with us was a great talking point, many would stop to give them a little fuss… I think they loved having the dogs around as much as we do.
Pretty and Pink with Teddy Maximus…
Of course, with a location as beautiful as Peggy Porschen a Teddy Maximus accessory was essential. Well known for their delicate florals, and pretty pastels I wanted to get our favourite bow tie out for the occasion.
Intended as a festive print, the gorgeous star print is a favourite of mine. With its soft natural beige with white stars it is one of Alfie’s more feminine prints. I absolutely love it…
I hope you liked a little peak in to our favourite London cake shop, It really is impossible to be in the area without a cheeky slice of cake. Be sure to pop in and try them for yourselves.
