Huxley Hound | “Better Than Raw”

I wanted to share a wonderful company with you today… Have you heard of Huxley Hound? They strive to produce fully traceable organic vegetable treats for your dog.

Huxley Hound have been on my radar since their launch, nutrition is the most important factor for me. I will do all I can to give Alfie a diet that contains all the nutrients he will need to live a happy healthy life. I must admit I hadn’t tried the treats sooner just because I didn’t think that Alfie would actually eat the treats. He is such a fussy dog, he will spit out any vegetable that I give him [little bugger!].

They believe that every dog’s diet should be balanced, with a healthy mix of meat and vegetables. I love the whole feel of Huxley Hound. They aim to give as many dogs as possible access to high quality nutrition.

One thing I didn’t know is that dogs can only extrat a minimal nutritional value from raw vegetables, so even if Alfie did eat them he wouldn’t get the full benefit from them. This is where these treats are different, they have put a lot of research in to develop the optimum vegetable dehydration process. This means that this method will unlock the nutrients from the organic vegetable that are used in their products giving your dog five times the goodness! – AMAZING!

Much to my surprise the treats were a big hit, quickly trying to gobble up as much during the photo session as he could. We were kindly sent the parsnip and sweet potato flavours to try, you can also get your hands on carrot and beetroot.

I hope you have enjoyed a little insight into Huxley Hound. I will definitely be adding these into Alfie’s diet. A big paws up from us!

Alfie is just too cute in these pictures. Maya loves vegetables, both fresh and dehydrated so I might give these a try as they do look delicious! xxx
