For Those Muddy Paws | Kärcher

Kärcher

Mud is an everyday occurrence for me and Alfie. If there is mud Alfie will find it, but what do I do once he is covered in mud? I usually just embrace it. Thanks to Kärcher, muddy paws a the thing of the past.

Kärcher kindly sent their Mobile Outdoor Cleaner for us to try. Of course, I was eager to see if it could make a change to my usual mucky routine… I swear I spend the majority of the year covered in muddy paw prints! Lets not even talk about my car, just imagine a tiny car that transports three spaniels – It’s disgusting.

What makes the Kärcher OC3 Portable Cleaner so special?

The Kärcher OC3 Portable Cleaner is a handy tool for both human and hound. It’s light and portable, perfect for storing in your car ready for after those muddy walks. Don’t be concerned about the term “pressure washer”, the low pressure means that it will remove the mud easily, but it is still gentle enough for your dog. It is also handy for cleaning off your boots too!

I was a little sceptical at first [although the men in the family got way too excited my the prospect]. My main concern was that it would be time consuming, but it actually took a matter of seconds. It is all contained in a small compact box. You simply take the hose out, turn it on and go! One clean Alfie coming right up!

Lets get technical…

Compact and convenient, the The Kärcher OC3 Portable Cleaner is fitted with a spiral horse and trigger gun, giving you full control of the water coming out. The spiral hose is perfect for manoeuvring around your dog, the cable stays taught which prevents any accidental tangles. Once you have finished this carefully tucks away under the water tank. The water tank itself is pretty handy, it can hold 4 litres of water. You can easily remove it from the device while you refill.

Something that really impressed me was the battery life. The Kärcher OC3 Portable Cleaner is powered by an integrated lithium-ion battery. The battery is rechargeable and lasts up to 15 minutes, this means you can use the cleaner several times before you need to charge it. Even better the LED will warn you when the battery is low.

So, would I use The Kärcher OC3 Portable Cleaner on a regular basis?

The simple answer is yes. Once “princess” Alfie had got over his sulk about being hosed off with cold water, I had him hosed down and clean in no time. It was so simple and easy to use, and perfect for keeping those muddy paws out of the house! I already have it tucked away in the boot ready for our next adventure… Who knows, I might even end up with a mud free car in the long run! A huge thank you, to Kärcher for collaborating with us on this post. I think you will all agree it is a handy tool for any mud loving dog owner!

How wonderful!!!! Amelia doesn’t get muddy often but I’m totally thinking of my poor mom at the stables with her constant muddy boots! I think I might have to get this for her for Mother’s Day 😍😍😍

Brilliant blog. Spaniels and mud seem to attract like magnets so it’s great to see a way of us fighting back those muddy paw prints x
