As I type this Alfie and I are down in Cornwall with Steph and the spaniels, sniffing out all things dog friendly – If our first day is something to go by, we are in for a real treat!
Yesterday evening we headed over to Trebarwith Strand the catch the last bit of light before sunset. The dogs had been traveling the majority of the day, so it was about time they got their paws wet!
There wasn’t much beach to play on as the tide was in but we still had great fun clambering over the rocks and splashing around in the sea… Alfie, in true Alfie style, was straight in! Not concerned at all by the waves crashing behind him! Whereas Sev and Lily were much more sensible and taking it easy. I find it hilarious how brave he gets when water is around. He can barely look at a new dog with out going all silly, but those giant waves crashing are easy!
We spent a whole evening snapping away happily as the sun set, the light was beautiful! I just couldn’t resist sharing a few with you…
When then tide is out Trebarwith Strand is the perfect dog friendly beach. A gorgeous sandy beach that stretches for about half a mile, with a great surf and lots of nooks and crannies to hunt for marine life – The ideal location for a beach day. To top it off there is an adorable beach cafe close to the beach and a dog friendly pub on top of the hill, with the best cliffside views. We couldn’t resist a glass of wine and dessert after our beach walk.
Where is your favourite beach in Cornwall? We would love some suggestions.
