Chipping Campden | The Cotswolds

Adventures are always better with friends! On Friday Alfie and I took a drive out to Chipping Campden to meet up with our friend Steph and the spaniels [I’m sure you all know her, from Stephanie Dreams] for a doggie day out. Chipping Campden is another one of those beautiful towns where I always drive through thinking just how much I would like to stop and have a wander around, I am instantly drawn to the gorgeous Cotswold stone – Always there in my head planning those photo opportunities!

We met at a quaint little coffee shop for a delicious smoothie and a catch up before we set off to explore those golden streets, everything was just so picturesque…

I think it is common knowledge that both Steph and I have a slight love for Dog Boutiques, so when we discovered Country Hound Dog Boutique there was a fair bit of excitement! If I was to describe to you my perfect shop this would be it.
We were greeted with the warmest of welcomes – Even the slightly soggy doggies! Being a complete country bumpkin everything was just up my street, from the most adorable decor to the jars of treats… Oh and the tweed! the Tweed was everywhere! I honestly don’t know how I managed to prevent my self from buying everything in sight but with DogFest just around the corner I had to resist. Although I have later found you can purchase from their online store, there is a grey leather collar and lead set that would just look dreamy on Alf.

Alfie definitely knows how to work those puppy dog eyes… So he managed to come home with some pig ears! I just cannot say no that face!

After the dogs had been for a good run we headed to the Noel Arms Hotel for a glass of wine and a fruit tart… Delicious! We sat out in the garden, watching the world go by.. Of course enjoying some cuddles with Sevy and Lily! That little brown nose give some of the best snuggles.

I hope you enjoyed coming along with us. I highly recommend Chipping Campden for a doggie day out, with lots of walk to explore and a selection of dog friendly eateries both you and your dog will have a great time.
